Graduation will be held OUTDOORS.
Students will report to their room assignemnts by 5:15 PM
Students must report to the main office at the high school to pick up their graduation tickets. Students can pick up their tickets from 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. on June 17, 2008. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the main office at 407-2040.
HAMDEN HIGH SCHOOL 2008 GRADUATION CEREMONY INFORMATION
1. There is limited parking at the high school. Please use the adjacent parking lots. Do not park in the Chili's or CVS lots, cars will be towed.
2. The 2008 Hamden High School graduation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17th at 6:00 p.m. though no tickets are needed for stadium seating. If there is inclement weather, students will be given 2 tickets for the gym and 1 ticket for the Caféteria or auditorium. Decisions regarding postponement will be made on
Monday morning.
3. If you need handicapped seating, contact Jane Colwell-Glynn at 407-2008. The tickets will be given to your graduate on Monday.
4. In the event there is a weather postponement, graduation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 6:00 p.m.
5. Any student who has received an honor cord (s) must return it immediately following graduation to their House table located in the gym.
HAMDEN HIGH SCHOOL 2008 GRADUATION CEREMONY RULES
1. Tassle is worn on right temple.
2. No cellphones, cameras, silly string, beachballs, bubbles, signs, airhorns, writing on mortar boards, etc.
3. Just bring you-there is no place to store purses, so don't bring anything but yourself. Any disturbances to the ceremony will result in immediate removal and possible arrest.
4. Take gown out of package and iron or steam it. Obligations and Senior survey must be turned in to receive cap and gown.
5. All graduates will be required to wear appropriate dress for graduation. All school rules apply regarding dress code. Wear appropriate shoes. (You will be doing some walking and standing. Make them comfortable).
